Booking terms and conditions

The booking of a hut does not guarantee a bed will be available, a majority of our structures operate on a first come first served basis

You agree to keep the hut clean and tidy

You will avoid using candles inside the hut except in emergencies

You agree to ensure appropriate hut fees are paid by all members of your party.

For any lodge including Wyn Irwin and Kennedy Lodges:

•  at least one CMC member must be in any staying party.

• Non-member groups (e.g., outdoor clubs) may request written permission from the CMC Committee.

Entry Refusal: Lodge warden/committee member can deny entry if use violates policy or (for Wyn Irwin) the National Park Management Plan.

Non-Member Access: Warden/committee may allow non-members if use aligns with policy and (for Wyn Irwin) the Park Plan.

Access Codes: Provided only to current CMC members; distribution records must be kept, with refusal for non-members/unaffiliated individuals.

Compliance: Wyn Irwin Lodge use must adhere to Aoraki/Mt. Cook NP Management Plan to ensure its future.
